Two different media forms come together to create the same picture. LaVaughn  Belle's Migrating to the Surface, 2003. Across the top of the print is a realistic spliced photo of the ocean. The feet of a person can be seen floating. Across the middle of the print are what appears to be ruler markings. Across the bottom of the print is the drawn image of the scene at the top. Four stamped figures drift amid the drawn waters of the artist.
