From the Artist
Two Dogs is as much about mark making and possibilities as it is about image making. The landscape is both that and spatial, geometric, and textured. I hope the print has an edge to it. The landscape is not "attractive" yet not apocalyptic either, just unsettling. The print I think makes the viewer ask, what are the dogs doing? Why is one at the edge looking out of the print? Where is this taking place? When? The mystery is important, that's why the title is innocuous.
