Sculptor, painter, photographer, and mixed-media artist Joseph Feddersen was born in Omak, WA. He earned a BFA from the University of Washington, Seattle, and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Feddersen's work has been exhibited at the Heard Museum, Phoenix, AZ; American Indian Contemporary Arts, San Francisco, CA; Wright Museum of Art, Beloit, WI; Marilyn Butler Fine Art, Santa Fe, NM; Sacred Circle Gallery, Seattle, WA; and Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland. He lives and works in Omak, Washington. He is known for creating artwork with strong geometric patterns reflective of his surrounding environment, landscapes, and his Native American heritage.
