Jimmy Mance

Painter and educator Jimmy Mance was born in Philadelphia. He earned a BFA from Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University in Philadelphia and Rome, Italy.

Mance has had solo exhibitions at Taker’s Gallery and the African American Museum in Philadelphia. His work has been featured in group exhibitions at Nexus Gallery, Sande Webster Gallery, and Philadelphia Art Alliance, all in Philadelphia and Hampton University, VA. He has taught art for many years in the School District of Philadelphia.
